The criminal record certificate is a
government document issued by the Ministry of Justice which certifies whether or not the applicant has been convicted of a criminal offence.
The certificate can be obtained at the Civil Registries, the territorial offices of the Ministry of Justice and in Madrid at the central citizen’s office. A fee must be paid at the bank to obtain it.
